Sunday, July 10th Meeting For Worship at 10.30 a.m. Preparative Meeting (our business meeting) follows Meeting for Worship At 6.30 p.m. United Service at St. George’s Methodist Church Boscombe.
Saturday, July 16th Monthly Meeting at Poole Meeting House 2 p.m. 52 Wimborne Road.
Sunday, July 17th 11.45a.m. to 12.30p.m. informal discussion on Quaker Faith and Practice, followed by a shared lunch.

The third Sunday each month is designated Healing Sunday, when names in the healing book found in the entrance hall will be remembered. Do feel free to enter names in the book if you so wish.
There will be no Preparative Meeting or Monthly Meeting during August
Stamps
Our thanks to those Friends who have contributed used stamps. A quantity of these have been sent to Friends House for resale. There is a box for stamps on the table in the entrance hall, but only foreign and pictorial, please, not ordinary British 1st and 2nd class.
The Last Word Listen
When I ask you to listen to me
and you start giving me good advice,
Then you have not done what I asked of you.
When I ask you to listen to me
and you start explaining why I shouldn't feel as I do,
then you are trampling on my feelings.
When I ask you to listen to me
and you think you must do something to sort out my problems,
then you fail me, however strange that may sound.
Perhaps that is why praying helps some people.
because God is mute and doesn't give good advice to try
to "fix" it
So, please, just listen to me,
and if you want to say something be patient.
then, I promise, I'll listen to you.
